Working Standard legal terms
Website Terms
Effective date: 2026-08-08. Last updated: 2026-08-08. Version: 2026-08-08-v1.
Acceptance
By accessing this public website, you agree to these Website Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or submit a pilot application.
Eligibility
The website is intended for business representatives evaluating Working Standard for contractor operations. You should be authorized to submit information for the business you represent.
Website purpose
The website describes Working Standard, its product direction, roofing-first pilot focus, and public resources. It does not provide authenticated application access or deploy the private Working Standard product.
Product status
Working Standard is under active development. Public descriptions identify intended or pilot-stage capabilities and should not be read as a promise that every described workflow is generally available today.
Pilot applications
Submitting a pilot application does not guarantee acceptance, product access, pricing, timeline, or support. Any pilot relationship requires separate written terms.
Working Standard text messaging
Working Standard may offer transactional and operational text-message programs to individuals who provide a mobile number and consent to receive them. Depending on the workflow, messages may include lead and appointment notifications, scheduling updates, reminders, job or document-status notices, signature-related notices, invoice, deposit, or payment-related reminders, and other service-related operational alerts associated with Working Standard-enabled contractor workflows. Marketing or promotional text messages, where offered, require separate applicable consent.
Message frequency varies based on the workflows and events associated with the recipient. Message and data rates may apply. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Reply STOP to cancel and stop receiving messages from the applicable Working Standard messaging program. Reply HELP for help. You may also request assistance at support@useworkingstandard.com. After a valid STOP request, Working Standard or its messaging provider may send a final confirmation of the opt-out. A recipient who later wants to receive messages again must opt in again through an approved enrollment method.
Participation in a Working Standard messaging program is subject to the Privacy Policy, including the restrictions on sharing mobile information and text-messaging opt-in data and consent. Consent for one messaging program does not automatically authorize a different campaign or promotional messaging.
Acceptable use
Do not interfere with website security, probe systems without authorization, submit unlawful or executable content, use the site to collect data at scale, or submit customer records, credentials, payment information, or confidential materials.
Intellectual property
Website content, product descriptions, design, source-controlled materials, names, and marks are owned by Working Standard or their respective owners. No rights are granted except the limited right to view the website.
Feedback
If you provide ideas, suggestions, or other feedback through the website, Working Standard may use it without restriction or compensation unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
Third-party services
Booking links, embedded scheduling, hosting providers, email systems, messaging carriers or platforms, or other third-party services may operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
Privacy
Personal information submitted through the website or processed in connection with Working Standard text-messaging programs is handled according to the Privacy Policy.
Professional advice
Website content is not legal, tax, accounting, insurance, engineering, safety, estimating, or business advice. Contractor operators remain responsible for professional judgment and local requirements.
Disclaimers
The website is provided as is and as available. Working Standard does not guarantee search ranking, acceptance into the pilot, uninterrupted access, error-free content, or a particular business result.
Limitation
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Working Standard will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or lost-profit damages arising from public website use.
Indemnification
You are responsible for information you submit and for misuse of the website through your systems or representatives, subject to applicable law and any separate written agreement.
Availability
The public website may change, pause, or be unavailable for maintenance, security, legal review, or operational reasons. Production deployment remains disabled until legal and DBA sequencing gates are satisfied.
Termination
Working Standard may restrict access to the public website or pilot application process if it believes use is abusive, unlawful, risky, or inconsistent with these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the configured law and venue for Missouri and Greene County.
Changes
Working Standard may update these terms as the website, pilot program, messaging programs, legal review, or product status changes. Production changes require review before publication.
Miscellaneous
These terms are the public website and Working Standard messaging-program terms described above. Separate written agreements control any accepted pilot, authenticated product access, confidential information, or commercial relationship to the extent those agreements apply.
